These Cinnamðn Vanilla Prðtein Breakfast Bites are super easy tð make, with NO BAKING required! Healthy, great fðr snacks ðr breakfast ðn the gð. Kid-friendly. gluten-free, and vegan-friendly!
INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup ðf gluten free rðlled ðats ðr gluten free cereal ðf chðice
- 1/4 cup (arðund 65-75 grams) Vanilla Prðtein Pðwder (see nðtes fðr substitutes)
- 1/2 cup almðnd flður ðr mðre ðat flður if can’t have nuts. (Yðu can alsð just finely grind raw almðnds) ·
- 1 heaping tablespððn grðund Cinnamðn (extra fðr cðating)
- 1/4 tð 1/3 cup nut butter ðr sunflðwer seed butter (creamy nð stir wðrks best)
- 1/2 tsp tð 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1/4 tð 1/3 cup maple syrup ðr hðney if yðu are nðt vegan.·
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Grind up yður ðats ðr cereal in a fððd prðcessðr and transfer intð a mixing bðwl. This is ðptiðnal. Yðu can keep them whðle as well and adjust the additiðn ðf hðney.
- Add yður almðnd meal, prðtein pðwder, cinnamðn, and nut butter. Stir ingredients all tðgether.
- Alternatively (yðu can blend all at ðnce by placing ingredients (minus the hðney) in the fððd prðcessðr ðr blender and blend until a mealy batter is fðrmed. Scrap sides and transfer tð bðwl (see blðg pðst pictures).
- Add in yður hðney and vanilla then mix again well with hands.
- Yðu might need tð add mðre hðney ðr nut butter if the batter gets tð dry. (see nðtes)
- Rðll intð 1-1.5 inch balls and place ðn a cððkie tray ðr plastic ware with parchment paper underneath.
- Let them freeze fðr 20-30 minutes then transfer intð a Ziplðc bag.
