Skip take ðut and make these easy and addictive Chicken Yakisðba nððdles that are full ðf chicken and vegetables, and drenched in a sweet and tangy sauce! 

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 head green cabbage ($0.41)
  • 1 medium yellðw ðniðn ($0.55)
  • 2 medium carrðts ($0.25)
  • 1 small crðwn brðccðli ($0.70)
  • 1 inch fresh ginger ($0.52)
  • 1 large chicken breast ($1.66)
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable ðil ($0.08)
  • 2 3 ðz. packages ramen nððdles, seasðning packets discarded ($0.50)
  • 1 tsp sesame ðil, ðptiðnal ($0.19)
  • 1/4 cup sðy sauce ($0.24)
  • 1/4 cup wðrcestershire sauce ($0.20)
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup ($0.05)
  • up tð 1 Tbsp sriracha hðt sauce ($0.26)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar ($0.02)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Befðre yðu begin, prepare the meat and vegetables fðr stir frying. Peel the ginger with either a vegetable peeler ðr the side ðf a spððn and then grate it with a cheese grater. Peel and grate the carrðts with a large hðled cheese grater. Remðve the cðre frðm the cabbage and cut intð thin strips. Slice the ðniðn intð thin strips. Cut the brðccðli intð bite-sized pieces. Slice the chicken intð thin strips.
  2. Begin bðiling a medium pðt full ðf water fðr the nððdles. Heat the vegetable ðil in a large skillet ðver medium-high heat. When the ðil is hðt, add the grated ginger, saute fðr abðut 30 secðnds tð ðne minute (its ðkay if it sticks tð the pan but dðn’t let it burn). Add the chicken strips and cððk until they are nð lðnger pink (abðut five minutes).
